My final day. I leave the ferry, do a pointless lap of Harwich then head home. I take in some familiar roads and nearly crash in a ford! Washing is on and I battle to stay awake after so many early starts.

The final push to my final ferry. I have a nice ride through the Netherlands, watch some football and gratefully dive on my bed in my cabin!

I head north west and say auf Wiedersehen to Germany and cross the border into the Netherlands. Lots of cycle paths and three ferries!

My last full day in Germany. I head through Bonn and Köln on my way north to stay with Helen and Klaus near Kempen.

A change in the weather as I head further north, once again following the river Rhine. An easy paced day with quite a few rain stops!
