Tour Summary

So that's it for another tour. Really enjoyed this one - well, I really enjoy all of them! But this did in some ways exceed my expectations. Perhaps it was the weather, or maybe it was just that Scotland never fails to deliver when it comes to epic scenery and great places to visit.

Day 18 - Gedney Hill to Chelmsford

Another long day in glorious sunshine! As it was the last day, there was no need to rush, although with 100 miles to cover, I couldn't hang around too much.

Day 17 - New Holland to Gedney Hill

A blast through the flatlands under sunny skies. Bit of a free airshow as I passed Coningsby and a campsite all to myself!

Day 16 - Robin Hood's Bay to New Holland

My initial pace was slow due to rough cycle tracks and hills, but things soon flattened out and I was able to smash out some good miles.

Day 15 - Hartlepool to Robin Hood's Bay
