After a leisurely start - allowing my washing to dry off in the morning sun, I made my way through parts of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire before arriving in Rutland where I am camped for the night.
An incredibly windy and cold start eventually turned into a lovely day. A mixture of old railway routes, country lanes and even a bit of city riding as I passed through Derby and Nottingham.
